Lay the foundation of this New Year with a Healthy back! Back pain is one of the most common causes of pain in the U.S. In this series of classes, we aim to provide relief from back pain and support our spinal health for years to come using the wisdom of Yoga to address common back issues, pain, and postural problems. We've got your back in 2021!
In each class we will:
-Discuss the topic in depth, including physiology, causes and specific issues
-Practice asana (physical positions) to build body awareness, create mobility, strength and pain relief
-Develop relaxation through breath work, meditation and Yoga Nidra
Benefits: Yoga can help overcome back challenges through asana done systematically to strengthen the back and help dissolve tension. The spine responds readily and often permanently to increased strength in the weak muscles. Relaxation releases mental and emotional tension.

Sundays: Jan 10, 31, Feb 7 at 2:30-3:45pm
This is a 6 session series, 75 minutes/session, offered on 4 Thursday evenings and 2 Sunday afternoons.
Participants will receive handouts after each class to develop a home practice for back health.
Registration in advance is required. Offered in-studio & virtually live. You will receive the zoom link the day of the workshop. Sign up on our class schedule.
Space in-studio is limited to 10 students. Yoga mat spacing is 6 feet apart. Masks are required when in the lobby and in the yoga room. Although we highly encourage the use of facial coverage/mask at all times, students have the option to remove their mask once the practice has began.

We highly encourage enrolling in the full series of 6 class in this clinic to receive the optimal benefits. However, students will still benefit from attending on a drop-in basis.
All sales are final. No refunds will be given to students who paid for the full clinic or drop-in rate, but are absent for a class.
