Ayurveda Consultation

The Ayurvedic Health Counseling Process

The consultation involves two 60 minute sessions and optional (yet highly recommended) 45 minute follow-up sessions:

Session 1: I will collect an in-depth history of your past and present medical conditions and current lifestyle and make observations. Please bring a list of your medications and/or supplements. We will explore your concerns and set health and wellness goals together.

Session 2: I will present your customized plan providing you with healthy routines and suggestions and we will discuss how to best integrate this into your current schedule.

Follow-up: 4-6 weeks after the Session 2 of the Consultation, we will check in with your progress, making adjustments and going deeper. I love seeing your progress as you follow your path to health and wellness.

Ayurveda

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a traditional healing system from India that can help you prevent disease and achieve optimal health in body, mind and spirit. Known as Yoga’s “sister science,” it is perhaps the oldest continually practiced health care system in the world. Its methods can easily be integrated into today’s daily life through simple lifestyle and diet practices that are in harmony with the laws of nature. Ayurveda is not merely a system of medicine; it is a way of life.

As a trained (in India & US) Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor and certified Yoga Instructor and Yoga Therapist, I will connect you with the right lifestyle choices and self-healing techniques to achieve your healthiest, happiest, most vital self.

How Can Ayurveda Help Me?

Ayurveda is not a one size fits all science. A sensitive and skillful healer, I will identify your unique set of physical, mental and emotional qualities that define your essential nature as well as determine any imbalances that may be present. With this information, I will devise a completely individualized lifestyle plan designed to guide and support you so you can be the most radiant version of yourself.

Ayurvedic lifestyle consultations address health conditions including: digestive issues, weight problems, stress, skin concerns, joint pain, respiratory problems, sleep issues.

Based on your evaluation, I may recommend:

  • Appropriate foods, including spices, teas and herbs, eating behaviors and cleansing processes to promote digestion, assimilation and elimination in order to support health and longevity.

  • Daily, seasonal and life cycle routines that promote a self-caring lifestyle.

  • Yoga poses to address physical conditions, breathing techniques and meditation practices to help manage stress, promote relaxation and affect neural pathways.
