Sweet Dreams: A Yoga & Ayurvedic Sleep Workshop

Seems like it has never been harder to fall asleep, stay asleep and feel rested after sleep! And those nightmares and teeth grinding. Sleep deprivation is now being called a global epidemic and research has linked it to illnesses including anxiety, depression, heart attack, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoporosis, just to name a few.

This workshop will give you effective and easy to use strategies and tools from Yoga and Ayurveda for sound sleep, led by Elizabeth, Yoga Educator. Start waking up refreshed and energized every day.

We will examine sleep patterns according to dosha, look at the do's and don'ts of a sleep routine, discuss foods, yoga poses and breathing techniques that encourage sleep and more.

Participants will receive two pre-recorded Yoga Nidra practices to help you with your sleep issues.

This workshop is appropriate for anyone who wants to sleep better. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Registration in advance is required. Offered in-studio.
Space is limited to 10 students. Seated spacing is 6 feet apart. Masks are required when in the lobby and in the yoga room. Although we highly encourage the use of facial coverage/mask at all times, students have the option to remove their mask once the practice has began.
